INGREDIENTS
1 Stick Grass-fed Butter
6 Slices of Bacon Chopped
1 Large Yellow Onion Diced
3 Celery Stalks Diced
2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
4 Tablespoons Cassava Flour
10 Cups Chicken Bone Broth
48oz No Sugar Added Crushed Tomatoes
1 Tablespoon Thyme
1 Tablespoon Parsley
2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Tablespoon Himalayan Salt, More to Taste
Cracked Pepper to Taste
ASSEMBLY
- In a large soup pot over medium heat cook bacon.
- Add butter, onion, celery and garlic.
- Sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add cassava flour and mix well.
- Transfer soup pot ingredients into a large high speed blender, and mix until smooth with one can of crushed tomatoes.
- Transfer back to the soup pot and add the additional can of crushed tomatoes, bone broth, thyme, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Simmer on low for a minimum of 1 hour.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 30 minutes.
