PORK INGREDIENTS
4 Boneless Pork Chops
1 Onion Cut into Wedges
½ Cup Chicken Bone Broth
1 Teaspoon Thyme
½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Himalayan Salt and Cracked Pepper
MUSHROOM CREAM SAUCE INGREDIENTS
8oz Mushrooms Sliced
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
1 Cup Full-Fat Heavy Whipping Cream
½ Teaspoon Thyme
2oz Full-Fat Cream Cheese
3 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan
ASSEMBLY
- Assemble the onions on the bottom of the slow cooker, and top with bone broth.
- Place pork chops on top of the onions. Top the pork chops with thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- In a small frying pan over medium low heat, assemble the sauce by sautéing mushrooms in 1 tablespoon of butter.
- In a medium sized sauce pan over medium low heat add 1 tablespoon of butter, minced garlic, and heavy cream. Whisk until hot, and add cream cheese.
- Once cream cheese has dissolved, add parmesan and continue whisking until the sauce has thickened.
- Add mushrooms to cream sauce and mix well.
- Serve pork with mushroom sauce poured over the top.
