FRY INGREDIENTS
2 Large Rutabagas Peeled and Cut into French Fry Sticks
2 Tablespoons Avocado Oil
¼ Tablespoon Himalayan Salt
¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder
¼ Teaspoon Paprika
DIPPING SAUCE INGREDIENTS
5oz Almond or any Dairy-Free Yogurt
1/2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/2 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1/8 Teaspoon Himalayan Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1/4 Tablespoon Parsley
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
1/4 Teaspoon Onion
1/2 Teaspoon Worcestershire (Whole30 Approved Version)
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
DIPPING SAUCE ASSEMBLY
- In a small bowl combine yogurt, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, salt, mustard, parsley, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Worcestershire, cayenne.
- Mix until smooth, and refrigerate.
FRY ASSEMBLY
- Boil fries in water for 5 minutes.
- Rinse with cold water and place on paper towels to dry.
- Air dry for up to 4 hours.
- In a small bowl mix together salt, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder to make fry seasoning.
- Place rutabaga sticks in a large baggie with avocado oil and fry seasoning. Seal the bag and evenly coat all the fries with the avocado oil and half of the seasoning.
- Place fries in the air fryer at 320° Fahrenheit.
- Bake for 15 – 20 shaking the basket and flipping the fries every few minutes until desired crispness.
- Serve with dipping sauce.
