STIR FRY INGREDIENTS
Grain Free Tortillas or Leaf Lettuce Wraps
¾ Cup Carrots Shredded
1 Cup Cilantro Chopped
½ Cup Green Onions Chopped
1 Red Bell Pepper Sliced
2 Cups Cabbage Shredded
1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
2 Tablespoons Tamari
2 Tablespoons Avocado Oil
STEAK INGREDIENTS
1 ½ LB Skirt or Flap Steak
½ Cup Tamari
½ Cup Avocado Oil
2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Minced Ginger
ASSEMBLY
- In a small mixing bowl make steak marinade by combining tamari, avocado oil, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ginger. Marinate steak, preferably overnight.
- Preheat grill on high heat, roughly 550° Fahrenheit.
- Place the steak on the grill for 4 minutes, flipping only once, then grill for an additional 3 minutes on the other side for a medium rare steak. Adjust cooking time based on personal preference.
- Set aside for 10 minutes to let the steaks collect their juices. Do not cover.
- In a medium size sauté pan over medium heat add avocado oil, tamari, garlic, cabbage, bell pepper, green onions, and carrots. Sauté until softened, about 7 minutes.
- While the vegetables are sautéing, cut the steak by slicing it thin against the grain.
- Serve steak and vegetables on lettuce wraps or tortillas. Top with cilantro.

HEALTH BENEFITS
Grass-fed Beef: Does it really need to be grass-fed? YES. Grass-fed beef contains significantly more omega-3 fatty acids than grain-fed beef. The optimal ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids should be 2:1. The Western Diet has excessive amounts of omega 6 fatty acids (resulting in a much higher 6 / 3 ratio) which can promote the onset of certain diseases like cancer, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases. Increased levels of Omega 3 fatty acids can show suppressive effects. The goal is to increase your omega 3’s by getting as close to the optimal 2:1 ratio. Your brain will thank you. PLUS, it contains more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), a type of fat that’s thought to reduce heart disease and cancer risk.
Garlic: Can reduce high blood pressure, and it also contains antioxidants. Top food for gut health – it contains prebiotic fiber, plus it’s antiviral and antifungal.
Cilantro: Helps support healthy liver function and balance blood sugar.
Avocado Oil: Rich in healthy fat, and it’s a good choice for high temperature cooking.
