PITA INGREDIENTS
3/4 Cup Blanched Almond Flour
2 Tablespoons Paleo Flour @bobsredmill
2 Teaspoons Xanthan Gum
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Egg
3 Teaspoons Water
ASSEMBLY
- In a food processor add almond flour, paleo flour, xanthan, baking powder, salt, Italian, and garlic powder.
- Process until mixed.
- Add the ACV and pulse until mixed.
- Lightly beat the egg and pour into the food processor. Process until mixed.
- Add water and process.
- Add ball of dough to plastic wrap, knead and place in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
- Separate dough into 4 balls.
- Place between parchment paper and flatten into a pita using a tortilla press or rolling pin.
- Heat a frying pan over medium low heat.
- Add tortilla and warm until both sides turn golden brown.
- Top with favorite sandwich toppings.
