INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Flour, I use @sunriseflourmill if I’m cooking something that’s not GF.
2 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar
1.5 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
7-8oz of Sourdough Starter Discard
3 Tablespoons Melted Butter
ASSEMBLY
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Add the starter to the egg mixture and whisk until fully combined.
- Add in the flour mixture and the butter. Stir until fully combined.
- Add the batter to the waffle maker according to instructions.
- This recipe made 5 medium sized waffles.
- Top with your favorite waffle toppings!
