CHICKEN INGREDIENTS
3 Chicken Breasts Cut into Strips
2 Eggs Beaten
1/2 Cup Paleo Flour
1/2 Cup Arrowroot
Avocado Oil for Frying
SAUCE INGREDIENTS
1 Teaspoon Avocado Oil
1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
1/4 Cup Honey
1/3 Cup Coconut Aminos
1/2 Cup No Sugar Added Ketchup
3 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil
2 Teaspoons Arrowroot
2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
2 Tablespoons Sliced Green Onions
CHICKEN ASSEMBLY
1. Place the eggs in a bowl and whisk them together.
2. Place the flour and arrowroot in a bowl. Stir well.
3. Dip the chicken into the egg mixture and then into the flour. Coat with flour and place on a plate.
4. In a large pot, heat 3-4 inches worth of oil.
5. When the oil is hot, add the chicken. Fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Do this in batches and set aside.
6. While chicken is frying, make the sauce.
7. In a small sauce pan add the garlic and AVO. Sauté and combine the honey, coconut aminos, ketchup, coconut sugar, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil.
8. When the sauce is warm, add the arrowroot. Stir well.
9. Coat the chicken with the sauce and top with sesame seeds and green onions.
