INGREDIENTS
2 Tablespoons Butter or Ghee
1 Medium Onion Finely Diced
6 Slices of Bacon Cooked and Crumbled
2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
1/4 Teaspoon Chipotle Powder
1/2 Cup Beef Bone Broth
3 Cans Navy Beans Drained
1/2 Cup Tomato Passata or Sauce
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Coconut Aminos
1 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
ASSEMBLY
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, add butter and onions. When butter is melted, add the bacon. Sauté for 5 minutes.
3. Add garlic, chipotle powder, and bone broth. Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
4. Add the beans and remaining ingredients. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Bake the beans in the oven for 45 minutes.
